Dear Ms. Delgado,
Thank you for meeting with me last week. I am pleased to tell you that your application for a $60,000 equipment loan has received preliminary approval. The loan carries a fixed annual rate of 6.2 percent over five years.
Before we can finalize the loan, we need two more items: your business tax returns for the past two years and a written price quote for the ovens you plan to purchase. You may upload both documents to our secure portal or bring them to the Dunmore branch. Please note that the offer will expire on June 30 if we have not received them by then.
Once your file is complete, closing usually takes about three business days, and the funds can be transferred directly to your supplier. Please call me with any questions.

Marigold Terrace — ★★★☆☆ “Good food, slow service”
Posted by Linh N. on March 11
We celebrated my sister’s birthday at Marigold Terrace last Saturday. The grilled sea bass was excellent, and the staff decorated our table with balloons, which was a lovely surprise. However, we waited almost 40 minutes for our appetizers even though the dining room was only half full. When I asked, our server explained that the kitchen was short-staffed. I would return for the food, but I hope the restaurant will hire more help.
Response from Owen Park, General Manager
Dear Linh, thank you for choosing Marigold Terrace for your sister’s birthday, and please accept my apology for the delay. Two cooks were out sick that evening, and we should have informed guests at the door rather than after they had waited. We have since hired two part-time cooks, and beginning next month we will send text alerts to waiting diners with their estimated time. Please accept a complimentary dessert platter on your next visit; just show this message to your server.

[1] Verdane, founded eight years ago by engineer Lucia Ferrante, specializes in tools that help small clinics manage appointments and billing. [2]
Quillon said it will keep all 120 Verdane employees and maintain the Verdane brand for at least two years. “Verdane’s customers are loyal, and its products complement ours,” said Quillon chief executive Bernard Aoki. [3]
Analysts welcomed the news, although some noted that merging the two companies’ systems could take longer than expected. Pending approval by regulators, the deal is expected to close in the first quarter of next year. Ms. Ferrante will remain as head of a new health-care division. [4]

Subject: Re: Moving from trial to a paid plan
Dear Mr. Eriksson,
Thank you for your message of November 18. Single sign-on is available only with our Business plan. Because you expect to have more than 50 users next year, I would recommend Business now rather than switching later. For your current 12 users on annual billing, the cost would be $230.40 per month.
Your free trial runs through December 3, and you will not be charged unless you choose a plan. If your IT team would like extra time to test single sign-on, just reply and I will extend the trial by one week.
Best regards,
